In addition, dried meat satisfies hunger not as well as we would like.

Players give their preference to the cauldron – another device from which food can be obtained fairly quickly, and some recipes, meatballs or meat stew, for example, perfectly satisfy the character’s hunger.

But jerky also has advantages: it stays fresher for a long time, unlike raw or campfire food, which makes it suitable for traveling away from the map, and meat will also help restore sanity. There are also those products that cannot be put in a cauldron or prepared from them for something nutritious, we are talking about the legs of a frog and the wings of a mousefish.

As mentioned earlier, meatballs can be made from meat – a dish that restores health and mind well. They can be made from cured meat, not just fresh. If there is already a ready-made base, and the nearest settlement is far away, then it is worth smashing all the houses with a sledgehammer and rebuilding them on your site. Using the skins of pigs killed in battle with enemies, you can replenish the settlement and have reliable fighters against enemies and madness, as well as true friends, you just have to stock up on meat.
