Mass effect infiltrator

Mass effect infiltrator game review

Despite the abundance of shooters for the Android platform, I’ve recently begun to tire of the monotonous crafts on the theme of the field life of a simple American soldier. I wanted something more original. Outcome almost immediately – on Google Play look locked on a familiar name, and here MASS EFFECT INFILTRATOR bought and installed on my smartphone. I have to say straight away that the game is fantastic, and can captivate not only the newcomer, but also the veteran gamer.

The game’s plot is rather unpretentious, and is based on the fact that Shepard’s “colleague” in the rebel trade, Randall, must release all the prisoners of Cerberus’ base, and along the way take all the information about the illegal deeds that the corporation has been doing. I should note immediately – that on the Internet the game is often compared to the first product from its creator EA – Dead Space. In fact, there are similarities, but Effect is good with its non-linearity, and I find running around in open spaces more interesting than the endless corridors of a spaceship.

When exhausted from shooters, I can switch to something completely different for a short while and then return to Mass Effect: Infiltrator with renewed vigour. Such pauses help to look at the gameplay from another perspective and appreciate how well the combat mechanics and atmosphere are designed. The game keeps you on edge not only because of the dynamic firefights but also thanks to the feeling of constant tension, as every corner may hide an enemy or a valuable data fragment. After a brief rest, it becomes even clearer how much effort was put into creating a truly mobile version of the Mass Effect universe — with smooth controls, cinematic camera work, and a sense of immersion that many other Android shooters still fail to achieve.

Convenient Phone Controls

What’s more interesting for the users of these games? Right – the controls. Here they are cleverly thought out and practical. There’s no need to perform complicated gestures on the display, light gestures are enough for most control functions. The game has automatic aim by default, which is very convenient to use at first, because you get used to the game less distracted. Later it can be safely disabled in the settings. In principle most of the controls can be adjusted in the settings, after which the game becomes more fun (personal impressions).

 Mass effect infiltrator

The gameplay is very elegant and clever. You can hide behind numerous fortifications, use some of Randall’s signature “tricks” on enemy infantrymen who happen to be too close to you. Overall, the game gives the impression of a well-designed shooter with plenty of opportunities to get your Cerberus base in order. It’s no easier to tear yourself away from it than its PC counterpart.

Extra Bonuses

What’s particularly appealing about the game is the ability to earn bonuses for destroying your enemies in style and beauty. Simply haphazardly pressing the keys (albeit virtual), you will not get much! You must think through all your moves and build your strategy to get more opportunities to pump your character! Let’s move on. Graphics. Everything here is just lovely. Great drawing and texture detail makes you feel like you are looking at a miniaturized computer monitor. Coupled with excellent controls and a good storyline, this makes the game a memorable one, leaving a great impression. It can be recommended to those who appreciate high-quality graphics and a well-developed storyline.
